Statement on Nepal - China Disaster

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

“We are deeply saddened by the devastating disaster that has affected communities across Nepal and China.  

On behalf of the members, friends and Ambassadors for Peace of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Asia Pacific, I extend our heartfelt condolences to families who have lost loved ones and express our deepest sympathy to all affected by this tragedy.

Our prayers are with all those who have lost loved ones, been injured, or been displaced as well as with the emergency responders, relief workers, and volunteers who are serving tirelessly to care for those in need. We also pray for the safety, strength, and resilience of all those affected and for the swift restoration of impacted communities.

We will seek ways to provide relief and assistance to those impacted by this disaster in their challenging journey of recovery and rebuilding.”
